RSF DISMISS MEMBERS FOR CRINIMAL BEHAVIOUR
After a lengthy internal investigation a number of people, have been dismissed for
anti-Republican activity, a spokesman for Republican Sinn
Féin said today.
Joe Lynch, from Ballinacurra Weston, the RSF national
spokesman said that in total 2 people have been
dismissed, Robbie Conroy in Dublin and Brendan casey in donegal have being expelled in order to
ensure the integrity of the organisation.
It gives RSF no pleasure to dismiss members but the
fact is these people engaged in anti-Republican activity
and it had an adverse effect on the Movement.
The RSF President Seamus Ó Súilleabháin has now
called for calm and unity at this time and welcomed
the support of the Republican POW’s who stand by
the leadership in their actions.
At a time of confusion and fragmentation it gives
RSF no pleasure to confirm these dismissals but
the fact remains that the principles of the Republican
Movement cannot be tarnished by the actions of
people who claim to be supporters. Therefore these
dismissals were necessary to send out the message
that only the highest standards of behaviour are
acceptable and steeling money from us is not on.
