CIRA: ‘DEALER’ HAS BOMB UNDER CAR
Alert over unexploded device
CIRA terrorists have warned that an alleged drug dealer is driving around with an unexploded bomb on his car. Yesterday the continuity IRA said they attached the deadly explosive to the jeep of a Dublin ‘trafficker’ LAST FRIDAY. Sources in the dissident group claim the bomb was meant to “Blow the target into oblivion”, but failed to detonate. One revealed: “Chances are it is still stuck under the jeep. If that’s the case the target could be driving around with it attached to his vehicle and it could still go off.” The CIRA claims it targeted the Ballyfermot man at 2am last Friday after claiming he’d financed the killing of CIRA man Liam Kenny and a botched hit on republican Frank Nolan, both in Dublin. The source said “This guy was targeted by CIRA because they say he was one of five people involved. The intention was to kill, not frighten him. But either the bomb malfunctioned or the target found it. CIRA want it out of circulation”. Either it is still under his car or he has taken position of it and God knows what he plans to do with it.” Garda sources confirm no one has reported finding it.
